I just bought a very interesting J Pitre print.
The print looks like on wood but may not ,I can not decide.
Do you know the value of the print, even if it's not original?

There is this same print currently on ebay that someone is trying to sell for $600, but this one is not on wood. http://cgi.ebay.com/Restrictions-John-Pitre-/220759865457?pt=Art_Prints&hash=item3366503871 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Restrictions-John-Pitre-/220759865457?pt=Art_Prints&hash=item3366503871)
So i did a search for completed listings of John Pitre, and the dollar ranges were from 12.95-1,800 dollars for his prints. Only 2 out of 8 prints sold and they were both 12.95.

I got the answer from PitreArt.com:
Hi Zoltan,
Thanks for writing. I have seen these before. It is a poster that has been mounted onto some wood. Unfortunately these do not have any significant financial value. But hopefully it has some personal value attached to it.

The prints are fine. From where did you get those?
