Title: identifying a childs purse
Post by: deedee on April 19, 2011, 12:48:31 PM
It is a small red purse.About 6 in. by 6 in.It is made of a vinyl like material. It has a braided strap of the same material. It 60 to 65 years old.It has a black cloth lining. It has a metal closure across the top.The closure has various pictures engraved into it.There is a train, duck, horn, owl, etc. On the front there is a figure attached to it.It looks like plastic but I am not sure.It looks like a cartoon animal. It is upright and dancing on a stage. It is dressed in coat tails,a big bow,and a hat(not a top hat). The stage is a  rectangle with the words Boogie Woogie Boogie Man.On a part of the clasp on each side there are the words "Pat Ap? Picture Str? Trade-Mark.I have tried to find this with no luck.Any information would be appreciated.
