Title: OWL statues
Post by: sunkist on April 25, 2011, 02:18:56 PM
I have a couple of owl statues.  I am trying to figure out who made them/what they are worth.

Initials FA or FH (?) on the back along with ITALY

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Sunkist, and welcome.

A couple of things might help. Do you know the composition of the material? What size are they? Any history that you may have on them? And is it possible to provide a photo of the backstamp?

Without this info they could be almost anything .. take a look at these...

Agree with Mario!

Remember seeing these alot in the 70's to 90's.  They aren't moving on online auctions.

Until know the composition can't really say....just what you can get.  Believe you have them listed on EBay.

I unfortunately do not know what material they are made out of.  That is someone else who has them listed on ebay...but thank you so much for the link.  This helps!

My grandparents had them on the shelf since I was a child.  They passed and left a bunch of things behind.  Some are easier to find info about than others.
