Sorry Guys need your help again, another chair picked up very cheap ::), I bought it because I liked it, (I was told if you like something buy it).
Can anyone help with dating this chair please, I presume it is a ladder back but is it English, Dutch or....? hope the pictures help.

Looks like it might be Early Colonial (17th century). I'm not really sure, though; don't quote me on this. I'm not very good about furniture style.
This site has some great information about furniture styles: http://www.efi-costarica.com/Antique-Furniture-Styles.html (http://www.efi-costarica.com/Antique-Furniture-Styles.html)

Done some research on the net last night (finally got some free time lol), looks like it could be a Elm Yorkshire ladder back chair, but dating it looks like a bit of a problem, these chairs range from the 17th to the late 18th century, so I have decided to take it to the local auction house with a couple of other pieces I have got on their free appraisal day later this week.
