Title: Apples..MADE IN SWEDEN..so beautiful..
Post by: azzaro on June 15, 2011, 08:49:08 PM
They are 1.5 inch diameter and 2 inches high. Only paid $5 for them at a garage sale. I think they are worth at least $25, from the 80's and porcelain..anybody agree?.

I would agree with the date on the item maybe, had to say for sure.  As for the value being $25.00.   So many unique vases out there and $25.00 would get you a really cool Royal Copley if you wanted.  As a pair I would say that $5.00 tops

I picked this set up because I don't see many "Made in Sweden" products here in Ottawa, Canada. The quality is very high, with great attention to detail. Very realistic (see pics). They look like real apples. Yes, I will keep them..on my computer desk. They are a relief for sore eyes, 4-sure:).

I agree with ironlord as to their worth being $5 tops. I see items such as these for $1-2 at garage sales. Country of origin means almost nothing compared to a known collectible factory name.

I do believe that they looks like ceramic and not porcelain!

I would say they would run $4 - $8 in my area (the pair).
