Picked it up for $10 at a garage sale. It says SWISS-Made versus SWISS MOVT which means it was made in Switzerland. When it says MOVT it is only supervised by Swiss engineers/managers and made elsewhere. Anyway it is probably from the 30s or 40's Any ideas on the value?. I looked closely and it has a genuine LIZARD-wriststrap!. I have never ever heard of a LUCAS Swiss-made watch. Any info will be appreciated.

The only thing I can say here is, the Swiss wristwatch I picked up for nothing cost me $46 to get in running condition and that was years ago. Totally old school hand wound movement. Art deco type styling. I like it but rarely wear watches anymore. I have no idea on a Lucas brand.

This is probably one of the best place for info on watches.

I live in the UK, so mine wouldn't be of any use, I'm afraid.

Oh, ok. Have you ever used the auction houses there for any of your stuff?. I will research via Google for auction houses here in Canada/USA.

I have a Lucas watch with a square face, and the same blue stone.
My father claims it was made by http://creationslucas.ca when they were still in Montreal.
Not 100% sure. Searching for the origin led me to this site.

Maybe this will help with more insight
