Title: frustrated
Post by: dgdgbd on June 20, 2011, 10:07:19 AM
I have this Barton and Reed 2800 silver soldered salt and pepper shaker. It looks old but I have no clue what it's worth. I've spent countless hours researching it online and just can't seem to find it anywhere, even Replacements Unlimited doesn't have it. I've tried contacting Barton and Reed about it but never got a reply. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I posted a picture of it.

What you have there is a Salt and Pepper Caster Set.  The only one similar to yours that I can find is here

The set Replacements has for pattern 2800 is slightly different from yours.
The caps seem to be different. One was sold in 2008 but I do not have a Worthpoint account to see the price http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/reed-barton-silver-soldered-salt-pepper-w
