I have a violin that was my Great Grandfather's and was told that it was made in Japan between 1880 and 1925. I was wondering if anyone knew anymore about this instrument, the maker, or what its value would be today. It is in excellent condition, with the exception of a few marks on the face made by the bridge. The string pegs also slip and need to be replaced in order for the strings to stay in tune.
