I forgot where we got this, but my wife wanted me to inquire about it so here it is. Fake or real?

Well, the silk looks to be printed rather than woven or painted, (maybe someone can comment on what that might mean in dating it) but the backing looks fairly old, older than I expected looking from the front, but also printed. I am leaning towards 1940 - 1960-ish, but I could be way off with that. Let's see what the others have to say.

Thanks for the reply. Im not even sure exactly what it is, or even where to start to find information on it.

I've never seen anything like this until now, or never noticed them. Now found this one on Ebay, which went for very little, but it is hard to see whether it was of a similar quality or not.

What is the size of it ? I have seen similar as pendants (about 2 in.) and larger (about 8 inches) as miniature wall hangings. Usually they are in sets of three as wall pieces.

It is about 8" also surely to be hung on a wall. Im going to research it more out of pure curiosity. lol
