Hello everyone! I'm new to the forums and I would like to start off by simply asking for some help. I have an old bag I aquired after a friend was going to throw it away. I don't expect it to be worth anything, I mainly would like to know more about it, because it seems like a cool item ;D! Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum Joshhhhh!!! (lost count of those h's) ;)
This is likely the company that made your bag.....quite the history.

What are the dimensions? At first it reminded me of a doctor's bag, but the heading of the article states "Manufacturers of Quality Shoe Sample Cases".
Here's a link to a unnamed vintage salesman's case for comparison......tho ugh this appears wider through the top portion

How does it smell? I have a similar old piece of leather (attache case) that does not have a pleasant leather smell. Not sure if it is the age (about 70 yrs old) or the tanning method used in that era. It is not musty or moldy just a real funky leather smell. Very thick full grain cowhide. Same color.
