Title: Set of Miniature Glasses
Post by: lewmel on July 28, 2011, 11:19:37 AM
Hey everyone,
I came across a set of 8 of these mini glasses.  At first I thought they might be sherry glasses, but after some research I am not so sure.  They measure 3.75 inches tall by 1.25 inches wide.  Each glass as a small leaf like hallmark on the bottom.  Please excuse my drawing!!
Does anyone have any ideas on what they may be used for, or who made them?
As Always, Thank You!

yea that would be considered Cordials, or Desert wine Glasses for us less complicated kind  :D   Not sure about the hallmark and will try and remember to take a look after work in my Glass hallmark book.

Well I have looked in four different glass books at the library.  I had no luck  :-[

Me either Ironlord on the hallmark.  Agree they are cordials.

I did check out my glassware books, and nothing like that either.  Maybe if we get a pic, that may help.  Not many glass hallmarks, one would think it would appear.
