Found these wooden sticks at an antique show. The seller had no idea what exactly they were used for, but I found them interesting and couldn't pass up the price, so I purchased them. I've done a pretty thorough search with google, however nothing came up as to what these could have been used for. They look like something to bang on a xylophone or drum with, but it's not any kind of quality wood or anything to be used in a professional manner. Any ideas?

The Top stick has no writing. The middle stick says 'Jack Valentine's Ice Show Fort Lauderdale, FLA.' And the bottom stick says 'Latin Quarter New York & Miami Beach.'

Valentine's was a popular club in Miami way back when and Latin music was popular with the night life. I surmise that they are xylophone sticks, probably tossed out to patrons. Collected like one would collect swizzle sticks.......
