i have a number of items i am looking up based on pictures alone. bare with me, please!! first one is this lovely brass (?) leaf.

Never seen it before, but found it in one of my Books " Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF)" Founded in 1853 stared in repairs of Tolls and railroad equiptment. They claim the fame of the first Tarnish Resist Silver, Stainless Tableware and some other thing, Quite the company, they were out of Business before 1915. Quite intresting stuff. Now I have to go take a closer look at your pics. Looks like this could be quite the cool item.

Cool then the company went on after 1915. I got that from " Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacters" Publish by Scheffer. I have a few others, but usually turn to this one first.
