Title: 100 + year old furniture with pics (experts help needed please)
Post by: orioner on August 28, 2011, 04:49:37 PM
Hi guys and gals,

May you provide me any sort of estimate of price on these 100+ year old furniture pieces? The desk has gold leaf framed around the top desk.

http://share.shutterfly.com/share/received/album.sfly?sid=8AcsmrRo4atlFG8&startIndex=0&fid=47214b422e31cef1

from the seller, "I inherited it from my x husband grandmother.  Gold leaf.  The furniture was bought in the east coast.  She lived in manhattan

I don't have any information I am afraid. But I know the grandmother owned the desk for 90 years when I got it she bought it as a antique so it could
Be older very thick wood."

Thanks all for your insight and any rough price estimates would be appreciated too!

Julian

Only pic that is showing is the chest ??  Can you post the pics here ?? Need to see more than just the front !! Sides of a drawer so we can see dovetails !!  Front and back of at least one or two pieces !!
