Title: Best site for pricing silver plate?
Post by: hudsonhacker on August 30, 2011, 07:35:31 AM
Anyone know of a good site for pricing and dating silver plated trays and the like? I have so much of it I am trying to catalog and jumping around all over the internet is taking a significant amount of time. I know the stuff generally is not really valuable, but i would like to price the items fairly for both myself and for the potential buyer.

Thanks
Paul

Hudsonhacker, the top sites for getting an idea of the going market pricing (if you don't have a store) is Ebay and Craig's List....even Etsy.

To help find patterns on holloware, etc......Replacemen ts LTD, the particular company/maker of the piece's origin, different countries have different sites that are better, etc.  There is no "one" total resource.

Best of luck!
