Hi all! Sorry I'm posting a lot today...I swear I've been researching these and not just fishing for help! I'm trying to post all the ones I've gotten stuck on, hopefully it's at least a little entertaining for you guys :-* This one I don't even know what to call it, so as you can guess I've had a lot of luck so far ;) It looks like a large candy bowl or jar, 8.5" high & 8" deep with a 9" lid. The lid has frosted glass etched flowers on it and is sort of like a doughnut but where the hole would be it sinks in to fit into the bowl. The problem is the bottom where the logo is is scratched up. When I tilt it side to side it seems like there is an embossed "W" in a circle and the rest is just scratching. Very hard to photograph, used a magnifying glass & various lighting, just so hard to see! This one will take me a couple of posts because I have a handful of large pics, so please bear with me.

W in a circle is usually Wheaton Glass, but don't really look like something they would of done, would have to look a bit more on this one.

I tend to agree Ironlord!

I agree too on the Wheaton front...looks like their logo but not one of their pieces. I found out that this style is called a penny candy jar. All I've got so far. I guess I should give up on identifying this one but it seems so unusual. I found only 1 other one online and it was lidless.

I think it is a tilted cookie jar. Or baked goods. Will keep looking.

I have seen the lid before but not on anything like that candy jar !! It would have had a much smaller lid !! Just cannot remember where I saw it !!
