Title: Milk Glass Footed, Covered Compote
Post by: GreenhornGirl on September 06, 2011, 12:06:53 AM
Hi guys!  I think I'll just give up on sleeping, because trying to identify these pieces just keeps me up at night!  ::)  This is a milk glass footed covered dish or compote, 6.25"H with lid, 2 5/8" without lid.  About 6 1/8" wide at the mouth.  I haven't been able to find this geometric pattern anywhere yet to link it to a maker.  Look familiar to anyone?  Unmarked, of course  :)

Cool piece for sure, don't reconize it, but from the look of the milk glass it is mid century.  As a general rule with milk glass the more opaque it is the older.  But not always.  I will have to look around a bit, when I get done with Dishes, my Turn tonight  :-\
