Title: China marks
Post by: pumpkins13 on July 24, 2004, 06:22:26 PM
I have a pair of bowls, marked Bavarian, Made in Germany. Approx.
7 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. Interior is gold plated.
It has sqaure base approx. 3 1/2".  On the bottom
it has an oblong crest with a crown and a pair of crossed swords.
The crest contains the letters RWK. Directly Under the crest mark is a word
in dark green letters that we cannot read. Can anyone identify maker or item?
Thank you. pumpkins13   jma13@hotmail.com

Hi pumpkins:  you need Chris Marshall, he is an expert on German marks, and is bi-lingual so maybe he knows what the word is.

Here's his site:

If you don't see what you are looking for, in the Bavaria section, e-mail him from his site.  I don't remember Chris ever being stumped.

another site I use is:

best wishes, KB     ;)
