Hi, I have come across this old gold ring, it is quite small, possibly child size. The hallmarks (2) are very worn and I cant read them. The stone is quite large, has some small wear/scratch marks so I'm guessing not the hardest material and it is clear, with a very slight yellow/golden tinge. Please help!

I certainly can`t tell from pics !! I would take it to a jeweler and have them look at it,, just don`t sell if they offer to buy because that to me would mean it is a lot better than they are telling you !! Could be a pinky ring !!

Looks to be topaz but could be citrine from your description. FYI if it is an older ring fingers were much smaller in olden times. jeweler is a good idea to confirm it is gold & determin the stone. Very pretty :)
