Hi there,
my grandfather got these two small porcelain figurines from his mother. When she gave them, she said that they are over one hundred years old. I also know that "she got them from jews" (and it must have been in or near romania). Does anyone have more information about these figurines? They have no stamp.

Welcome to the forum , AdamC .
Looks like a couple of tough ole gals (most of the features of these two items seem to be lacking in 'dainty' details -esp. thickness of the porcelain/ceramic) .
As far as the origin , I'd say that they do appear to be European (East,West,North,South?) , but pretty much just guessing @ your posted image of them .
One , sans body , appears to be a head from a cloth doll ; the full-figured gal is also a doll (a ceramic one) ....
My best conclusion is that what you've got there are classified as "toys" for the young girls of a household .
Cool little do-dads , AdamC .
