Title: Toledo Cooker

Hello!  First timer here.

I have a Toledo Automatic Electric Cookstove here.  It was actually left in a shed when I purchased my home.  I've tried to find some info on this thing, and there is a VERY small amount of info on Toledo Cookers, but nothing on this model.  Hopefully someone can tell me things like when was this one made, what were they primarily used for, and of course is it worth anything?  I've attached some photos.

Welcome to the forum! Are there any patent numbers on any of the parts or just a serial number? We can look up the patent number to date it and get a bit more info on it. They can be hidden in really weird places so be sure to look 'er over good. :)
Looks 1920s to me.

Whats the serial number ??  That might help !! Wiring looks 20`s early 30`s !!

Yes, that is a 1 8 7 9.  I can't find a patent number but on what I guess is the switch, it says "Hankscraft Patent Apr 26,1921".  I'd say it was made in the 20s then??

These , and other items for like purpose , were pretty much last used by folks migrating around for work & for having a portable "microwave oven" (no fire to build , etc.) while traveling/camping-out & for other temporary functions in areas where house current was available , as far as I know .

Even through the 1940's , gas , coal & woodfire were the dominant form for stoves .
These little units must have caught the eye of traveling families with hongry youngins' , in their day !
