The first pair are strange little things. These are the ones I'd like to have a date on. But mostly I just wanted to show them. Is that ok? They just say Taiwan.
Probably not old, but then, I've never seen anyone wear a pair like this in my lifetime. :)
ETA: I should pay more attention to my typing. Just fixing typo's

This next pair, I just like in a weird way. Too bad an arm is missing.
Info: B&L 4 5/4 Alum
B&L 1/10 12K GF
20-44
You would think they were gold by the information! They aren't, so what's up with the numbers?
-
The second pair is indeed a gold-filled frame , made by Baush & Lomb , in an 'Aluminum colored/finish' model .
The numbers '20-44' are a size for the bridge (20mm) , and the other number is for the size of the lenses (44mm) .
I'd say 1970's manufacture , if my memory serves correctly .

Well...now I feel stupid! :-[ I thought they were aluminum. B&L seem like a good name in glasses. Thanks so much!

Those are make-up glasses. They flip down so that you can apply your makeup in the mirror! ;D

I thought you were joking with me, tales! I looked it up and it is! I always wondered why anyone would wear them around. Thanks a bunch! It's so nice to know.

I could use a pair of those, lol

LOL! That just makes me chuckle. I have never put them on. Going to try it tomorrow just for fun.
