I have a set of 6 plates. The only thing on the back of the plates is "Bavaria" in blue writing. The plates are about 6 inches in diameter. They have purple flowers with green leaves. There are four gold designs on the rim of the plates. I would like any info that anyone could give me to find out more about these plates. Thanks!

Not possible to identify maker with just the "Bavaria". There were and are many factories in the Bavaria area of Germany that produce some of the most beautiful porcelain in the world. If they are all identical, then they were part of a dinnerware set. I'm suggesting that you go to this site, click on the blue band on the left side of the screen, it opens up all the pics, and scroll away. Time consuming, but fun. Find a pattern that is kind of like yours, and check prices for bread & butter plates. Prices given will be high retail replacement.
