Is that in original condition or have you had it restored?

Wow, looks to be brand new to me. It may not be very old, but it's hard to find toys like that that have never been used! I could see someone who grew up in the 70s just loving to have that!

They didn't have any prices. It's the old call so I can suck you in routine. These are all new.

These must have been popular during the mini-bike era,, early 70`s  @150cc motor !! Wouldn`t classify them exactly as toys in the usual sense !!

It would help a considerable amount if you'd post any info , regarding the manufacturer(s) / Point-Of-Origin , that is on/on the manual & shipping box ....

Printing on the box 'lables' seems to be from the E. Orient to me , and fairly modern .

Is the front-wheel-located 'electrical device' a generator for the lights on your little item (or a 'drive' motor) ?

Sorry, they looked  almost identical. The blue top comes off, which made it very similar. That was a great item. That one is worth some money.

trust me, there is a big market for 40 year old toys...

Think of all those people that are in their 40's now that want to buy that toy they drooled over when they where kids, but never had the money for...

and "new" (NOS!) in the box? thats great!

Have not found much , save for an inquiry in July 2007 by a poster named 'Ed' & a newer inquiry from Feb. 2010 , at the website "drtoy.com" .

!00% with dontbe on the collectable aspect of vintage & antique toys !!!

A point of fact , concerning Chinese-manufactured toys , is that it's very frequent that these companies will often produce a small 'line' of toys ... if they don't sell well (& sometimes if they do) the company will close it's doors & move on to the next thing , esp with the smaller firms .

Locating resources about/from such companies often gets relegated to the dumpster (even if they sold on-line) & then it's rather up to collectors of such to document/record info about these companies & their products .

There is so little to be found on this item I wonder if it was a promotional or demo. I did find two pictures very similar to yours but when I clicked to go to the page, there was nothing there. Even the same box with universal written on it. And some talk of a pink one with a mickey mouse seat. Same thing go to the site and get nothing. Universal studio maybe? I am grasping here...

the jpeg image was named nancycar.

Been watching with interest...  It definitely would have some value but I haven't a clue how much.  What would be your guesstimate (out of curiosity)?

Here is one by the same company but I can't get to a site from the image.
The box has 1959-60.

Maybe you can write to the Chen Fuh company and find out more?

I found the names of 2 buyers and 2 sellers of apollo minicars. You can't see the picture or page anymore. I didn't know whether it would be right to post their names here or not. Maybe if you contacted one of them they would tell you what they were sold for. I don't know if they are the identical ones or not. But you could always find out.

If anyone e-bays here, would you be offended if someone contacted you for that? Is it okay for me to post the snips here?  I just don't know if that would be like an invasion of privacy or something along those lines.  :-\

I don't think it's an invasion BUT you can always send idaho a personal/private message. Just click on his name and follow the link. Or,If you have a pic (screen shot), you can post for a day or so then go back and modify your message and remove the pic.
