Hey everyone,
I recently purchased this piece (see flickr link below) and thought I might share it with the community. I have been unsuccessful gathering info/details on the piece/period and would love any information or direction to help with my search. I was told that it is from the 1960's...but I'm not 100% on that. There is no signature/label that I have been able to locate. I am really interested in the history of this type of art/vase/pottery as well as searching for similar pieces.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this piece and any information that you might be able to share on the style, time period, etc.
Thanks!
Noah

Snowflake can find things before I can even think about it !! LOL Vase looks like hammered and spun brass combo ?? Very unique piece !!

I think I just typed hammered bronze vase and it came up. I wish I could help with date/maker. That I am not good at. I don't know stuff, but love hunting for it! ;)
LOL, Mart! I figure I better do my part. People here have helped me so much with their knowledge. I can at least try to dig... :D

If its bronze it should have a foundry mark somewhere !!

BEAUTIFUL piece!!! I would contact Stephen Miller Siegel and inquire about the piece in snowflakes link ( good lead snow!!!) as they are a dealer and not the maker of that piece. see if they can tell you who made it. let us know what you find!!
