Hey everyone, I'm thinking of buying this chair, do you guys know anything about it? Thanks!

Very nice chair. There's a post not to far down that has the same chair. Yours is in much better shape. The post references to a box. Read further and your chair will come up.

I apologize it say kittinger Co.

DO you know anything about it? History?
There have been many made in this style for many, many years. First glance I would say yours is a repro....but than again I don't have a hands on and am going by a picture.
Are there any markings?
Can't make out the design on the pics. Can you take a close up or describe?

I have had several of those saddle seat chairs and I can tell you they are not comfortable to sit in and do not look good with a cushion !! Thats why they faded out of mfr. so soon !! Some were made early 1900`s and a few were early american country pieces as the chair in the Kittinger post is !! They are almost impossible to sell in shops as there is no particular use for them !! So irregardless of who made your chair (and it could have been any one of many mfr`s) it value would be maybe $150. to $200. on a good day !!
