Hi to all
Can someone please tell me what this is.It looks as if it might sit inside a pot or something.Don't pay any attention to the ball I have it sitting on.

This looks similar to a recent post. It could be for escargo (snails).

It is an egg poacher !!  Goes inside a small skillet or pot, add water and break an egg into each metal cup (should be 2 more, one for each hole) cook about 8 minutes at a simmer, make biscuits or english muffins, add hollandaise sauce and lo and behold !!  Eggs benedict !!  LOL

Yes!  My Grandmother had one.  Wow...that brought back some memories...great ones too.

Yepper...they got it....egg poacher!!!  If you don't like poached eggs...not missing anything!  :)
