Hi to all
Can someone please tell me what this is.It looks as if it might sit inside a pot or something.Don't pay any attention to the ball I have it sitting on.

This looks similar to a recent post. It could be for escargo (snails).

I'm going with an egg poacher....

It is an egg poacher !! Goes inside a small skillet or pot, add water and break an egg into each metal cup (should be 2 more, one for each hole) cook about 8 minutes at a simmer, make biscuits or english muffins, add hollandaise sauce and lo and behold !! Eggs benedict !! LOL
