I cannot find any info on this old brass lamp. On the bottom I can make out some of the lettering. Vogx (ie?) Shake (e?) Co. Chicago Illinois. I just have the base. Thanks!

Tried playing with the clarity.....eyes aren't what they used to be ;)

Welcome to the forum! These lamps were most popular in the 1920s. I can't seem to make out exactly what it says either! Here are the patents from Chicago for that period for floor lamp bases, most of them were patented. Do you recognize yours? I will keep looking, too.
