It's hard to see but the bottom of this 1 in tall owl appears to have a hallmark one looks like a c inside of a circle can't make out the other. I think this is silver it appears to be able to be shined up but I don't want to loose the patina. Does anyone know if it's a hallmark on the bottom of the base of this owl, and if it is a hallmark possibly where it's from and value, thank you

I cant tell but does the other one resemble an "R"? It could be Coles & Reynolds but Im not sure

I can't tell far away it looks like it could be an R close up I can't tell at all. Who are Coles and Reynolds and would this have value if made by them? thank you for your information

I couldnt tell ya, they were mainly known for silverware as far as I can tell so Im probably wrong, just took a guess

The C in the circle looks like the "copyright" mark to me.

This is driving me nuts. I saw the identical piece after searching about another owl someone was wondering if it was a secret society symbol. Trying to remember what I typed in.
I came across something similar but not it.
This isn't your symbol or owl.

Well, hours and hours of searching and came up empty. That really gets me. I recognized it the minute I saw it. I just can't remember what I typed to get to it. Sorry.
