Post by: command37 on November 07, 2011, 02:34:15 AM
my neighbor in the Marina i'm staying at moved his camper from one lot to another and found this under the porch...

it's a "Pocket Fisherman"

i know that you would like me to do a little research first but it's 2:32 in the morning, it's cold and my notebook battery is about to die. I will gather and post information tomorrow. For now here is the cell phone photo...

"It's the greatest invention since the hook, and still only $19.95"...at least that what Ron Popeil would tell you when he was hawking these on TV.
One of the Ronco line of direct sale merchandise, that you just knew you needed when you saw the ad.

Can`t see the label except the Pocket Fisherman part !! These have been made by several different companies including the popular Ronco line !!  Worth about what Rauville said,,$20. if it still works !!  But only good for pan fish !! Don`t try it for big cats !! I think it would hold maybe an 8lb test line !!
Just checked ebay and these are listed from $6.99 to $19.99 for the older ones from the 70`s !! But didn`t see any bidding on them !!

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Harrison Ford?
That's a compliment. :)
