hi, i have a royal crownford white ironstone minature pitcher & bowl by arthur wood of england. The pitcher stands 6" high, bowl is is 9" wide.
it is in mint condition. it has a design around the lip of the bowl with same design around the top of the pitcher. I would like to know age and value of it.

I saw only the links from R. Crownford back to Weatherby, late 1800's, but these Staffordshire potteries are often family owned/connected. If you don't find your mark there, e-mail Steve Birks, and include a pic, or get his smail mail address and mail a pic, with backstamp. Me? Just guessing, that it is a more recent production, by Crownford, in manner of Arthur Wood. I'd love to be wrong tho'. :blink: KB ps: keep us posted re: results
