Antique Questions Forum / Help with Vintage Glass or Crystal Bowl. Gold Leaf and a Blue pattern

Hello all,
 
My brother gave me this 40 years ago and it was an antique then. I have no idea what kind of bowl you call this, it looks like a candy dish to me. Does anybody have any idea of its origin or value?

Hello Everybody,

I am still new here and just posting a few things I have collected that I have no idea of the monetary or historical value. When you open the bowed lid on the front of the desk you can pull the front out and expose all the original utensils in place such as a carved wooden pencil holder on the left side and some kind wooden paper dividers as well a lot of storage slots, and it allows you to unfold the writing board. When you pull out the right drawer on the front and slide your hand inside palm up there is a wood button that release the weighted hidden top compartments. The side shown in the picture has faux doors and the opposite side has real drawers. Hope I didn't over describe it  . Thanks!!!

Note: At first I thought that one screw on each of the hinges were missing because they had fallen out but after looking they have never had screws there as shown in the pic by the wood grain being intact.

I bought this old stone pitcher a long time ago and was wondering if anybody could share any information they might have. It is barely visible but I see what I believe is a EARTH 14 ?? Etched in but it is wearing off. Let me know if you need any more info.. Thanks in advance.

Hi all! I came across a vase in my garage that I bought back in the 80's with this marking on it. I cannot find any information about it. Have any you of you ever seen one of the these? I can't even tell what language it is.....
