Yeah, summer lake camping is a different vibe than the mountains. Nights stay warm, so a lightweight sleeping bag or just a sheet works. Bug spray is a must—mosquitoes love the water, and a small mosquito net for the tent can be a game-changer. Bring a hat and sunblock for the day, and maybe a portable fan if it’s really hot. Keep food sealed to avoid attracting critters, and swim or hang out in the water to stay cool. Also, pick a spot with some shade if you can, it makes a big difference during peak sun hours.
