Antique Questions Forum / Cigarette case

Austrian, from the 30s, not something out of the ordinary, other than the fact that it has these gold inlays.
Then things get a bit complicated, its a matter of volume and density. I tested the gold and it was a positive for 14 K, but at a combined surface of 18x92 mm it gives a weight value of over 10 grams at a thickness of just 0.5mm. Just from a normal gold volume calculator.
Basically, the gold is worth more than the silver. 125 gr in total.
My question is , is there an noninvasive way to find out the thickness of the inlay ? Or from your experience, if you had the chance to see one "disected". Also what is the minimum thikness that can hold an engraving ? This can be a clue as the all the bands are the same hight.

I’ve also found that responding to all reviews—both positive and negative—helps build trust. People appreciate businesses that engage with their customers.

One thing that worked for me was listing my business on Local Business Directory and politely asking satisfied customers to leave a review. A small incentive, like a discount on their next visit, can also encourage people to take the time.

I know reviews are crucial for small businesses, but it’s tough to get customers to leave them. Any tips on how to encourage more reviews and improve my local reputation?

What a fascinating find! A rare 10-speed English bike from the late 60s/early 70s with no serial number and an “X” mark is definitely a mystery. Have you tried vintage bike forums or local collectors? They might have clues. Even without the original pedals and pump, it’s a gem—like finding unlimited money and gems in the vintage bike world! Keep us posted if you uncover more!

For a vase of this type it needs to be seen in person.  The weight of the item/how it feels and looks is very important.

Maybe someone else will pipe in here.

Someone offered me $180 for it very quickly, so I wonder if it does have some value I don't know about . . .

I found another thread about fake Xuande Ming marks, but the link is broken. So unfortunately, I have to ask again. Is this vase worth anything?

Diamonds are sparkling and clear, and the classic stud design makes them perfect for all occasions.  When it comes to jewelry, diamond stud earrings are an essential piece that every woman should have. They’re so versatile and can be worn every day.
