I've been researching this crystal vase for a long time. In your opinions is this similar? I'm ready let me have it! ;D ;D

Baccarat used only paper labels from 1860 until 1936 at that time Baccarat began marking all of its works via acid or sandblasting. Prior years to 1860 I do not believe their pieces were marked at all.  I do not recognize this vase as a piece I have seen (shape) from Baccarat but by 1970 perfume bottle production was over 4000 bottles per day, So They have produced enormous amounts of glass and this very well could be Baccarat, The quality of the glass would have to be perfect and would need a hands on in my opinion to be sure unless you found your piece in company documents.  Very pretty piece!!

Thanks Wendy! Wullie I see how you could get us confused, lol, but that's Betty. Wilma lives with my other daughter. ;D This vase was a gift. We had a friend who was down and out. He used to be very wealthy. When he lost his money, he lost his wife too. He had no money for food or gas, so my husband told him to come over. We gave him some money and said to bey himself a meal and some extra for help. In return he gave me this vase from his wedding. He has now recovered and lives in Florida. He was going through a bad time. What do you think the value is? The prices I see are amazing. I told my husband that I think he shouldn't have give us the vase, lol!

Betty?..Wilma....but where is Fred..and Barney... ;D....as for this vase....i think it was probably a wedding present from his ex-wife,s side of the family....and that,s why you got it...as for it being valuable...i don,t think he would have cared...he was just grateful that he had someone like you and your hubby...to help him out in his time of need....because ...and i talk from experience...when you,ve been up...you have friends....but when your down...only true friends remain...the rest run for cover.....well done you and your hubby....G,acre,

Can't afford Fred and Barney with Betty around. We rescued Betty and she has had a lot of health issues. The $10,000.00 dog, lol That's a long story. ;D ;D Most poeple don't know what a true friend is today, that's the problem. I've had my own experience with a bad friend and boy does it hurt! Dogs are always your friends no matter what!
