Antique wine flask.
« on: January 17, 2014, 09:57:01 PM »
Need help finding out exactly what it is. Found in a store in Fort Campbell, they claimed it had been stolen during Desert Storm and brought back to the states. Age, price, material? Thanks.

How big is it?  Almost looks like a snuff bottle.

About 7 inches tall 2 inches long and about 5 inches wide. I was thinking it was a wine flask because if the grapes on the front. Also the string on it is not original.

No, it feels as if it's a clay/plaster. It has cracks in it.

They did make clay bottles. It could be a flask.
